KiCAD is growing in popularity among both hobby users and industry. It is an opensource and absolutely free software for schematic design and pcb layout!
We have been evaluating and using KiCAD since last 2 years, it has evolved significantly and recent advances suggest it is hear to take on with the best of propriety software in the long run.
We have designed all our development boards and tools and even a few commercial projects with KiCAD. Apart from this we have done video tutorials on KiCAD and are referred on the KiCAD official website.
