In this tutorial we will see how to interface different character LCD with Explore Starter 8051.

== Basic ==
The added advantage of this Starter 8051 board is, it has on board LCD breakout for character LCD. It's great 
escape from making 10+ connections to LCD on breadboard. We can able to interface 16X1, 16X2 and 20X4 LCD on this existing set up. For basics on LCD refer the [[LCD_16_x_2_Interfacing_with_8051|8051 LCD tutoria]]l.
